ULTRA MARATHON

The 18th edition of the Atlantic Ultra Marathon, Melides -Troia, which starts from the beach of Melides, always by the seafront, through the beaches of Aberta Nova, Galé, Pinheiro da Cruz, Pego, Carvalhal, Comporta, Soltróia finish on the beach of Bico das Lulas in Troia. The event is accompanied by thousands of vacationers along the beaches.

MELIDES - TROIA

A unique race in Portugal and Europe, with a 43 km long, running all along the ocean. The Ultra Marathon of the Atlantic that starts from Melides to Troia, offers also a distance of 15 km pace, called; Course of the Atlantic, starting from the Comporta beach, finishing also at Troia. Both events start at 09:00am. Don't miss it on 7 of July, 2024.

Beach long sandy beach equipped with beach facilities, restaurants and car parks, as well as conditions of excellence in the environmental sphere and accessibility, these have been recognized with the award of Blue Flag awards, Accessible Beach and Golden Quality. The southern beach front are dune formations with endemic flora and classified and the northern cliffs of sandstone providing landscaping and environmental conjugations of high interest.

Atlantic Race, 15Km

Inserted within the limits of the Natural Reserve of Sado Estuary, which allows you to preserve all its natural beauty. From the dunes, sand, water quality of the sea of excellence, as well as the beach facilities which ensures restoration / bar, complete sanitary facilities, dedicated access and service to users with limited mobility and shaded car parks, the beach, has the privilege of meet conditions for environmental quality certification.
